Secure Payment Systems Certifies Datacap GIFTePay Solution

San Diego, CA - Secure Payment Systems (SPS), a national leader of value added payment services and transaction processing in the U.S. and Canada, is pleased to announce it has extended its list of pc-based, point of sale systems compatibility through certification and availability of the high speed IP gift card interface of Datacap Systems, Inc. GIFTePay is the software module developed by Datacap that provides gift card processors with an important link to pc-based point-of-sale systems thus offering a wider array of solutions available to independent sales organizations, agents, and dealers.

The software integration allows transactions to come to the SPS host computers via a direct IP interface. Having gift card transactions integrated into the store POS/ECR system streamlines client operations and enhances store and cashier accountability. Dealers benefit from selling the additional gift card feature, additional revenue opportunities, and improved customer retention.

SPS GIFTePay is immediately available for web download and web/email activation. Specific features and services supported can be found at www.dcap.com, and in dealer/reseller and POS developer documentation. Those clients that already have the GiftePay module will need to contact their distributors to download the most recent version that includes SPS (GiftePay ML/XML version SP 4.0 or higher).
