VitalChek selects Secure Payment Systems for Electronic and Guarantee Check Processing

VitalChek, a leader in providing certified state and federal government vital records and documents to consumers and businesses, has selected Secure Payment Systems ("SPS"), a nationwide leader of payment processing solutions as their eCheck payment provider. Under the agreement, SPS will provide check verification, guarantee, and settlement services for point of purchase and web based check payment transactions.

VitalChek, as an official service provider for thousands of government agencies throughout the United States, allows consumers and businesses to securely order official copies or replacements of government-issued birth, death, marriage and divorce records. Additionally, VitalChek provides online payment processing for many state agencies including tax payments, licensing, state filings and court related payments. Consumers and businesses can request these documents or make payments in person at a government office or on the VitalChek website. Processing over 1 million electronic ACH debits monthly, SPS authorization is integrated into VitalChek's processing request which allows payments via paper check at the point of purchase or via ACH on the web. SPS additionally underwrites the transaction risk and settles funds directly to VitalChek for disbursement to the government entity.
